Developing apps for wearable devices: where to start?
Hello everyone!
I want to try myself in developing apps for wearable devices, but I don’t know where to start yet. What technologies are best to use? Do I need to immediately understand the hardware of the devices or is it enough to just write apps? I’m thinking of doing something in health sector, like tracking steps or blood pressure.
I wonder how difficult it is to integrate such apps with medical devices. Are there any special features when developing interface for small screens? I’ll be glad to receive any advice and real stories. Who has already done similar projects?

Re: Developing apps for wearable devices: where to start?
If you want to get started quickly, I recommend paying attention to https://orangesoft.co/services/wearable-app-development . They specialize in developing apps for medical devices, helping with all aspects - from data security to adapting the interface for small screens. I myself was recently interested in this topic. It is very important to take into account UX design for user convenience and security standards, especially when it comes to medical information. They also have consultations where you can discuss the architecture of the future application. It's easier to start when you know what needs to be done to meet the requirements.

Re: Developing apps for wearable devices: where to start?
I also think that wearable applications direction is promising now. Especially in health sector, where devices really help people. I think it's worth thinking about ease of use and stable data transfer right away. Of course, integration with devices requires additional knowledge, but everything can be learned. It's also good to study the basics of security in advance, so as not to redo half the project later. Overall, the topic is interesting, the main thing is to start taking the first steps.
